Information for those who missed International Education Week

Hello everyone!

Thank you to all of those that made it to our presentation on Friday. We enjoyed talking with all of you and really enjoyed talking with those who came to help out with sorting! Huge thanks to Kim for helping us out with the presentation!

Below you'll find the video we showed which includes the two of us (Jennifer & Casey) and past brigaders talking about how the brigade impacted our lives and the tips we have for those considering joining our movement! We are incredibly excited for Honduras!

What is Global Brigades?

Holistic Model 

Foothill’s Medical/Dental Chapter

• Our chapter was started in 2012
• We have been going on brigades every August since then
• We have gone to Honduras & Panama
• In total, we have seen ~5,500 patients in our mobile clinics since 2012

Medical/Dental Mobile Clinic  

• Triage
• Consultation
• General physicians
• Obgyns (if we fundraise enough)
• Ophthalmologists (if we fundraiser enough)
• Pharmacy
• Dental
• Adult & children's charlas 

Public Health:

• Building projections for home sanitation infrastructure
• Latrines
• Pilas (water stations)
• Cement floors
• Showers
