December 6th De Anza Flea Market Fundraiser!!!

1. Flea Market is happening at De Anza, Saturday, December 6! We need volunteers to work at the flea market! Please volunteer for a time to come and help - any amount of time is appreciated - it's not necessary to stay the entire time (although if you can, please consider it). Flea market hours are as follows:

a. Set up: between 6:30-7:30 am (unloading the vehicles and setting out goods to sell)

b. Selling: from 8am-2pm (if you are good at this, we can use you!)

c. Clean up: after 2pm (loading the vehicles and returning unsold goods to Foothill)

2. In addition to volunteers to work the flea market, we are still collecting donated items to sell. If you can bring the items directly to DeAnza during the drop-off time, please contact Swaran (swaranchadha18@yahoo.com) for a permit. Otherwise, you can coordinate with Swaran to drop goods off at Foothill next week. Drop off times are:

a. Monday (December 1): 3:30-5:30

b. Wednesday (December 3): 2:00-5:00

c. Friday (December 5): 11:00-1:00 (drop off goods and help load vans!)

3. We also need help loading vehicles on Friday, December 5. We use a storage facility at Foothill and need to transfer the goods to the vehicles. Swaran has a van - if anyone else has a large truck/van/SUV, please consider helping out in moving goods from Foothill to DeAnza.

4. We need the following items to make the flea market run smoothly - please let us know if you have any of the following we can use on flea market day. If you do, please contact Swaran to coordinate pick up - and make sure to label it so you get it back!

a. tent (for rain or sun shelter)

b. tarp (to keep goods clean while on display on the ground)

c. tables (to display goods)
