Good afternoon, all, and welcome to the weekend!
Thanks to the 15 students who came to the last meeting (10/19/13) to brainstorm fundraising ideas and review potential leadership positions.
We generated several ideas for fundraising, and we're really excited to get the ball rolling. So far, we have come up with the following list:
Donuts & Coffee
- Tentative date October 30
- We are looking into holding morning and afternoon shifts.
Dawn - Corporate Sponsorship Flyers
- Will look into creating informational flyers highlighting any corporate sponsorship we receive. We can pass out these flyers to any prospective members and other potential donors.
Nick - Carwash @ Overtime Fitness
- Tentative date is November 15 from 2pm-6pm in Mountain View
De Anza Flea Market - Lead: Noah
- December 7 from 6am-6pm

Holiday "Grams"
- balloons, flowers, cards, candy, cookies
Heidi - Booth at Shoreline Amphitheater
We also watched a video composed of pictures, short video clips, music, and interviews from the club's last trip to Honduras. It gives you a small flavor of what it's like.
