Howdy Brigaders,
As we prepare for the upcoming De Anza flea market (5/3/14), we need everyone to RSVP for the event on the sign-up sheet here. We will be loading up a van with all of our goods this Friday (3/2/14), please bring all boxes you took at the mandatory meetings to the same shipping crate we unloaded them from. Sign up to load the van here, or arrange to have another brigader take the boxes to the van loading for you if you cannot make it. Also make sure to bring any donations you have to the van loading!
We still need a canopy for the event. If you have a canopy or know someone who does, please go about obtaining it and let me know that you can provide it.
If you have not yet replied to the poll concerning mandatory meeting dates/times over the summer, please do so here. Dates will be finalized very soon based on the availability of those who have responded.
Initial deposits are due in just a couple of days now - all brigaders must have $250 in their Empowered accounts by April 30th. Many brigaders still need to make this deposit, and it is important that you make sure to get this money in your account on time as it will determine our roster.
Lastly, there are many volunteers with accounts on Empowered who are not in my contacts. I am not sure if these are members from Foothill or from other schools we are working with. If you are one of these members (Alejandro, Allie, Andrey, Ashley, Craig, George, Hermona, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Lauren, and Nicole), please get in touch with me. I have sent all of you a message through Empowered regarding this.
